Privacy Policy

Arlabs Sdn. Bhd. (Registration No. 202001027077 (1383397-M)) ("Arlabs", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through arlabs.my and our products, why, and the choices you have. It is written to comply with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

1. What we collect

• Contact and enquiry data — name, work email, organisation and message, when you contact us, request a demo, raise a support ticket or download a resource.
• Website usage data — pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected through basic, anonymous analytics and essential cookies.
• Product data — when your organisation uses an Arlabs product, data entered into it (such as attendance records, work orders or invoices) is processed on your organisation's behalf under the agreement with that organisation.

2. Why we use it

• To respond to enquiries, demo requests and support tickets.
• To send you the resource you requested and, where you have agreed, relevant information about Arlabs products.
• To operate, secure and improve our website and products.
• To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

3. Resource downloads

When you download a whitepaper, brief or guide we ask for your name, work email and organisation. We use this to follow up about the topic of the resource and Arlabs products. You can ask us to stop at any time by emailing hello@arlabs.my.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies needed for the site to work and basic, anonymous analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not use advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our website, email and hosting (bound by confidentiality), and where required by law. Where data is processed outside Malaysia by such providers, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected.

6. Product data and your organisation

For data entered into Arlabs products, your organisation is the data user and Arlabs acts on its instructions. Each organisation's data is isolated at the database level, encrypted in transit, backed up, and every action is logged. Retention and residency are agreed in the service agreement. Requests about product data should be made to your organisation first.

7. Security

We apply role-based access control, encryption in transit, automated backups and audit logging across our products, and limit access to personal data to people who need it to do their work.

8. Retention

We keep enquiry and download data for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and thereafter only as required for legal or accounting purposes. Product data is retained according to the service agreement with your organisation.

9. Your rights

Under the PDPA you may request access to or correction of your personal data, withdraw consent to marketing, and limit processing. Contact us at hello@arlabs.my. We will respond within the timeframes the PDPA requires.
